Poles hold nearly 20 billion złoty in ETFs as Warsaw Stock Exchange volumes break records

Polish investors held 19.6 billion złoty in exchange-traded funds (ETFs, ETCs and ETNs) listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at the end of June — a 52% increase compared to six months earlier. Trading volumes in this segment over six months already exceeded the full-year figure from the previous year. GPW board member Michał Kobza attributes the surge to growing interest in passive long-term investing.
