US firms that kept DEI policies after Trump's crackdown performed just as well financially

An exclusive study found that US companies that retained diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies despite political pressure performed just as well financially as those that abandoned them. In January, Donald Trump signed executive orders ending DEI in federal agencies and threatened action against private-sector firms that maintained such policies. Major companies including Google, Goldman Sachs, McDonald's and Walmart had previously announced they were dropping their DEI programmes.
