World Bank to fund 645-metre bridge linking CAR capital Bangui with Congo's Zongo

The World Bank will fund a $60 million, 645-metre bridge across the Congo River linking Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, with Zongo in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project aims to strengthen trade and transport links between the two countries. It will be the first direct infrastructure connection between their two major cities.
