Ukraine unlikely to get licence to produce PAC-3 Patriot missiles

Ukraine is unlikely to receive a licence to produce PAC-3 interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defence system anytime soon, if at all. The missiles are described as "crown jewels" that the US does not want to see fall into the hands of China or Russia. Alternative solutions exist that could partially address Kyiv's urgent air defence needs.
