Young Americans growing more distrustful of AI and its billionaire advocates

A CNBC/Generation Labs survey of 1,088 Americans aged 18–34 found that the vast majority distrust leaders of major AI-investing companies, including Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg. Some 45% of respondents believe AI will negatively affect their careers, compared with just 10% who think it will help. The findings highlight growing pessimism among younger Americans about the technology's impact.
