Kazimierska reaches Euro final despite being hit at the start

Klaudia Kazimierska, 25, from Włocławek, advanced to the European Championships final in Birmingham despite being hit by a rival immediately after the start. The athlete, who has finals of the Olympics and World Championships on her CV, composed herself and qualified for Sunday's decider. Poland's record holder Weronika Lizakowska had a more difficult time in her qualifying run.
