Bitcoin nears $81,000 ahead of Fed's Jackson Hole summit

Bitcoin hit an intraday high of $80,793 on Thursday before retreating to $80,236, rising more than 10% over the past week. The Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index climbed to 71, signalling "Greed." The gains come ahead of Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's keynote at the Jackson Hole summit in Wyoming, where he is expected to address digital payments and cryptocurrency.
