EU joins U.S. operation targeting Iran with sanctions

The European Union joined the U.S.-led "Operation Economic Outcast" targeting Iran with economic sanctions. The decision was made at a meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 in Asheville, North Carolina. Iran criticized the initiative.
