South Korea plans to launch tokenized securities market in 2027

South Korean financial regulators announced a phased plan to transition traditional capital markets to blockchain technology. The system is to launch in February 2027 and include on-chain stablecoin settlements. The plan calls for gradual rollout of successive stages of market infrastructure transformation.
