More Russian regions caught in Putin's militarization drive

Russian regions that have so far escaped direct war effects are forced to increasingly sacrifice their economies and residents to the conflict. Even areas profiting from military contracts must now tighten their belts. According to analysts, Russia is entering a new, deeper stage of militarization from which there is no return.
