15,000 soldiers and drones on eastern border: new Border Defense Component

Poland is creating a new Border Defense Component with 15,000 soldiers to ease the burden on operational forces and secure the Eastern Shield. Four brigades will receive drones, battlefield radar, FPV drone production labs, more anti-tank weapons and the first Grot A3 rifles. The unit aims to respond to sabotage and hybrid threats, said Maj. Gen. Krzysztof Stańczyk.
