Parliament: VAT taxpayer status can be verified back five years
Parliament approved Senate amendments to a tax law amendment that will allow verification of taxpayer status in the VAT registry from up to five years back. New regulations will also permit electronic customs clearance using IT tools provided by the National Tax Administration. The changes aim to improve oversight and business transaction safety.
