China blocks information on victims from floods at Nepal border

More than a week after deadly flash floods at the China-Nepal border, Chinese authorities have nearly completely blocked the flow of information about victims and missing persons. Nepali officials regularly release names of victims and survivors, while comparable data from China has not emerged. The death toll on the Chinese side remains unknown.
