USA and Europe want Iran referred to UN Security Council for NPT violations

The United States and European allies are pushing for the IAEA Board of Governors to pass a resolution referring Iran to the UN Security Council, Reuters reported. The reason is Tehran's breaches of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The decision could seriously escalate already tense diplomatic relations with Iran.
