Knyba defeats Ruiz Jr on points, sends him to canvas in round 7
Damian Knyba from Bydgoszcz defeated Andy Ruiz Jr on points after 12 rounds. In round 7, the 30-year-old Pole sent his opponent to the canvas — had the referee not stopped the fight, Knyba would have won by knockout. His boxing promoter called this victory the most valuable in Knyba's heavyweight career.
