Two Iranian war films enter Venice Film Festival competition

Venice Film Festival will screen two Iranian films depicting the social impact of ongoing war, six months after Iran was attacked by US and Israeli forces. The productions offer viewers insight into daily life in a country facing both bombardment and its own regime's repression. One of the directors is Ali Asgari.
