European central banks move gold from USA to London

The Dutch and French central banks, along with other European institutions, are repatriating gold from North America due to geopolitical concerns. The precious metal is being held primarily in London, which according to World Gold Council research is the world's most popular gold depository. The Bank of England is becoming the main beneficiary of this shift.
