OpenAI launches GPT-6 Astra: new model for ChatGPT and Codex

OpenAI rolled out GPT-6 Astra — the successor to the GPT-5 family — as an update to ChatGPT and Codex. The model was made available first to Business and Pro customers (plans at $100 and $200 monthly), and a few hours later to Plus plan users at $20 monthly. It is the first major update in over a year.
