Europe building weapons factories three times faster than before the war
According to the Financial Times, Europe has already built over 7 million square meters of new defense industry facilities — equivalent to about 100 soccer fields. Factories are expanding three times faster than before Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with investments across Poland, Finland, the UK, and Hungary. The expansion is driven partly by EU funds as Brussels transforms Europe into a defense production hub.
