Tim Sweeney: gaming industry experiencing worst crash since the 1980s

Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, said the video game industry is experiencing "Crash 2.0" – the most serious collapse since the famous crisis of the 1980s. Paradoxically, players are gaming more than ever, yet game studios are laying off workers en masse and cutting production. Sweeney did not mince words describing the state of the sector.
