Psychiatrist on psychosis: patient may seem calm, then kill
34-year-old Patryk killed his mother less than an hour after leaving the emergency room — doctors had examined him earlier but did not detain him because he was calm. Psychiatrist Maja Herman explains that psychosis can be deceptive: a patient may appear stable and then suddenly react to voices commanding action. "Often patients say afterward that they felt a sudden flood of insistent voices: 'Do it, do it!'" Herman says.

no i co teraz, że psychiatra to wyjaśnia? po fakcie to każdy mądry. system jest jaki jest, brakuje miejsc, brakuje czasu, lekarz ma pięć minut na pacjenta i ma ocenić czy jest niebezpieczny czy nie - i potem się wszyscy dziwią jak coś się stanie. w tym kraju zawsze najpierw musi być tragedia żeby ktokolwiek zaczął rozmawiać o problemie.
