Free medicine list for seniors 65+ changes from October 1
A new list of free medicines for people over 65 takes effect October 1. The Health Ministry negotiated price cuts totalling 400 million zloty, but some manufacturers rejected the new terms. As a result, some seniors may receive a generic equivalent from a different manufacturer instead of their usual medication at their next prescription.
