Germany prepares hospitals for war: up to 1,000 wounded daily

Germany is analyzing its healthcare system's capacity to operate during armed conflict, checking bed availability, staffing and medicines. The Bundeswehr is training the transport of wounded soldiers to civilian hospitals. Estimates suggest that in case of conflict, current medical resources could quickly prove insufficient for an influx of up to 1,000 wounded per day.
