Nearly 900 plastic pieces found in seabird's stomach on Lord Howe Island
Scientists on Australian Lord Howe Island found 894 pieces of plastic weighing over 64 grams in the stomach of a young pale-headed booby. Another individual a year later contained 644 pieces, but they weighed over 67 grams. Long-term research points to a sharp rise in plastic entering the digestive tracts of these seabirds.

no i co z tego, za rok będzie kolejny rekord, za dwa kolejny, a ludzie dalej będą wyrzucać co popadnie gdzie popadnie. w tym kraju zresztą też nie jest lepiej, wystarczy spojrzeć na jakikolwiek rów przy drodze.
