Guterres at UN: power shifting to corporations and machines

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned during his speech opening the general debate of the 81st session of the General Assembly that the world is witnessing a transfer of power to corporations and machines. He noted that artificial intelligence development has surprised even its creators, and autonomous weapons are moving beyond science fiction into military reality.
