Anthropic chief at UN: AI threatens all humanity, U.S. rejects calls

Dario Amodei, head of Anthropic, warned during a special UN Security Council meeting that artificial intelligence may pose a threat to all humanity. He and OpenAI chief Sam Altman called for slowing AI development. The United States rejected these calls.
