Migrants smuggled in car trunks through Helsinki: northern route

Finnish border guards stopped two vehicles at the port in Helsinki in which migrants hidden in trunks attempted to illegally cross the border. In one case, the car arrived by ferry from Tallinn, indicating an organized smuggling network. Authorities emphasize that the so-called northern route poses a growing threat to Europe.
