Ethiopia: federal forces battle TPLF and rebel coalition
Ethiopia's situation is deteriorating as the TPLF declared it is waging "full-scale war" against the federal forces of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's government. Tigrayan rebels have formed a coalition with six other armed groups across the country, united by the goal of overthrowing the government. On Friday, another armed group announced it had joined the alliance.
