Thélynson Orélius novel removed from Prix Goncourt longlist for AI and plagiarism

The novel by Haitian-Canadian writer Thélynson Orélius has been withdrawn from the longlist for the Prix Goncourt, France's most prestigious literary award. The reason is allegations of using generative artificial intelligence while writing and numerous instances of plagiarism detected by media.
