Andrzej Bargiel becomes first person to ski down Nanga Parbat without supplemental oxygen
Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel summited Nanga Parbat (8,126 m) and completed a full ski descent without supplemental oxygen, becoming the first person in history to achieve this feat on the mountain. Bargiel announced the achievement on social media. The accomplishment adds another landmark to his record of high-altitude ski descents.
