Isla de las Muñecas, the Mexican island that holds the Guinness World Record for largest collection of haunted dolls, served as the inspiration for Where Dolls Hang, a survival horror game where you play a detective searching for people who've gone missing in a particularly cursed location.

"Players must investigate missing person cases by examining bodies, collecting clues, placing evidence markers, and documenting crime scenes with an in-game camera," says developer Steelkrill Studio's press release, "all while surviving the dangers lurking within the woods."

One way those clues are found is via VHS tapes, which you can take back to your safehouse to watch. And that's where you can also watch public domain horror movies like Night of the Living Dead, if you want to take a busman's holiday from the horror of the game.

When Night of the Living Dead was released in 1968, US copyright law required a visible copyright notice. But though the movie had a copyright notice under its original title, when it was called Night of the Flesh Eaters, it was left off the screen when the title was changed to Night of the Living Dead before release. That's why it's in the public domain, and why you can freely download it from the Internet Archive or add it to your videogame.

I'm curious what other public domain horror movies will be included in Where Dolls Hang. There are plenty to choose from. Manos: The Hand of Fate, Plan 9 From Outer Space, The Screaming Skull, Maniac, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, Roger Corman's Little Shop of Horrors and The Wasp Woman, maybe White Zombie to stick with the theme?
