Wildfire forces evacuation of 1,000 on Croatia's coast

A wildfire swept through vegetation and homes in Lokva Rogoznica on Croatia's Adriatic coast on Thursday, 13 August. Around 1,000 residents and tourists were forced to evacuate as flames spread rapidly through the area. Emergency services are battling the blaze in one of the country's popular summer tourist destinations.
