Japan launches probe to collect samples from Phobos, Mars's moon
Japan has launched a space probe on a mission to collect samples from Phobos, a moon of Mars — the first collection of material from that celestial body. It is Japan's first Mars mission in 28 years. Scientists expect the samples to provide new information about Mars and the solar system.
