Tumbler Ridge shooting survivors sue OpenAI: filing 30 lawsuits

Survivors of the February shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, have filed 30 lawsuits against OpenAI. They claim the company should have notified police when it closed the shooter's concerning ChatGPT account eight months before the attack. OpenAI failed to prevent the tragedy despite having prior knowledge of the threat.
