Berlin did not pay ransom: hackers leaked 1.4 million stolen records

Hackers who broke into Berlin's city computer systems in early August published stolen data on the dark web after the deadline for ransom payment passed. According to radio rbb24, 1.4 million records were released. Berlin decided not to comply with the criminals' demands.
