Hackers demand $3M in Monero from Revolut for customer data

After stealing personal data from customers of British neobank Revolut, cybercriminals issued a formal ransom demand of $3 million in Monero cryptocurrency on September 16, setting a 24-hour payment deadline. The attack involved social engineering to trick the company into disclosing customer information. Revolut has not disclosed how many customers were affected.
