Mother killed by father in front of toddler: trial near Munich

Police responding to a report of a bloodied man standing outside a house in Gauting near Munich found him holding a crying four-year-old. Behind damaged doors they discovered his wife's body. The child pulled away from the father — a 37-year-old now on trial for murder.
