Wildfires near Omiš in Croatia: Polish tourists accounted for
A serious wildfire broke out on 13 August near Lokva Rogoznica and the popular resort of Omiš, 25 km from Split. Strong winds drove the blaze from the forest into residential buildings, with fire advancing towards the town centre. Poland's Foreign Ministry confirmed it has checked on the situation of Polish tourists holidaying in the area.
