Polish journalist flees wildfire near Omiš: "We saw a red glow over the apartment"

A major wildfire broke out near the Croatian town of Omiš, forcing more than two thousand people to evacuate. Polish journalist Dawid Kierczak told TVN24 that he saw a red glow in the sky over his apartment and called his family to start packing immediately. The fire threatened tourists and residents in the area of the popular coastal resort.
