Denmark asks IOC to let Greenland and Faroe Islands compete under own flags
Denmark's parliamentary presidium has backed the right of athletes from Greenland and the Faroe Islands to compete at the Olympic Games under their own flags. An official letter has been sent to the International Olympic Committee requesting this change. The final decision now rests with the IOC.
